color coding

At Ramona STEM Academy, we are dedicated to ensuring that every child grasps the fundamental principles of how robots operate, regardless of their grade level. From kindergarten to fifth grade, students engage in lessons that highlight the importance of human input in robotic functions. They learn that robots perform tasks based on programming, beginning with basic concepts like color coding and advancing to block coding. This progressive approach allows students to understand the mechanics behind robotics. Additionally, while some students participate in specialized robotics programs, all students take part in the Hour of Code annually, reinforcing their coding skills and understanding throughout the school year. By fostering this knowledge, we aim to inspire a new generation of thinkers and creators in the field of technology.
